Upon graduation and passing the Bar, Courtney started as a prosecutor in Collin County. She rose through the ranks as a Misdemeanor Chief, then a felony prosecutor in less than three years. She left the District Attorney’s office to start work on the criminal defense side.
After 8 years away, Ms. Miller decided it was time to come back to Fort Worth and she joined the law firm of Dunham & Jones. Ms. Miller is skilled in both trial and appellate work and has argued in front of the Court of Criminal Appeals of Texas, the court of final jurisdiction for criminal cases in the state. She is also a sought after public speaker on various aspects of DWI trials.
