Jessica Gonzalez, San Antonio Criminal Attorney

Jessica Gonzalez was born in Houston, Texas and raised on the East Coast. She moved to San Antonio in 2001 for law school and fell in love with this community. After graduating from St. Mary’s School of Law in 2004, she prosecuted cases with the Bexar County District Attorney’s office where she gained valuable knowledge of the inner workings of the D.A.’s office and tried a wide variety of cases as a misdemeanor and then a felony attorney.

After eight years of prosecution, Jessica was driven to defend and protect the constitutional rights of all individuals accused of crimes. For over ten years she has represented people from all walks of life and charged with crimes ranging from traffic tickets to murders. She has successfully tried numerous cases to a jury and argued various motions to a judge. Given her extensive background and experience with family violence cases, the majority of her caseload focuses in helping persons accused of sex crimes and family violence.

In her personal time, Jessica enjoys reading mystery novels, spending time with family, and relaxing with her two dogs Berkley and Olive. She is also a board member of the San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, a sustaining member of the Junior League of San Antonio, and a graduate of Leadership Women of Texas.
