Kaylyn Grace Foreman is a criminal defense attorney in the Houston office of Dunham & Jones. She handles a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases and appears most often in Montgomery and Waller Counties. She has handled hundreds of cases since she was licensed in Texas in 2024.Ms. Foreman is from Schertz, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a certificate in applied behavioral health, then earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law. Through her law school's clinical program she served as a student attorney in the Caprock Public Defender's office, where she carried her own docket of about 20 misdemeanor, juvenile, and state jail felony cases under a supervising clinic director.
Her trial work has included first-chair DWI cases and second- and third-chair felony trials, among them assault of a pregnant person and offenses against children. She is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
Ms. Foreman is detail oriented. She goes through the evidence with a fine-tooth comb for legal and mitigating arguments, and she takes a holistic view of a client's case, looking at what led to the arrest and what can help the client move forward. She practices criminal law on a simple principle: when you help someone, you help everyone.
Outside of work, Ms. Foreman rides her horse.
