Roland Monteros is a graduate of The Stanford University School of Engineering and Santa Clara University School of Law. Mr. Monteros also participated in the Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers and The Harvard Law School Negotiation Project, which have provided him with valuable training and skills essential to provide effective criminal representation. Additionally, he is a member of the high IQ MENSA society. He has been a licensed attorney in the state of Texas for over 40 years. After seven years working in the government sector as an Assistant County Attorney, Assistant City Attorney, and Special Assistant United States Attorney, Mr. Monteros established his criminal defense practice. He felt that his experience on these multiple levels of government gave him a solid foundation to zealously represent individuals charged with crimes. Over the past 33 years, he has represented over 5,000 individuals accused of DWIs, thefts, burglaries, and assaults, from Class C Misdemeanors up to First Degree Felonies. He has extensive experience in bench and jury trials, as well as general negotiations. Mr. Monteros is well equipped to deal with government prosecutors in any scenario. He has a passion to reign in government excesses in prosecution when they occur, ensuring clients receive the best outcome possible.
