Tristan Blake Czajkoski is a criminal defense attorney in the Dallas office of Dunham & Jones. He handles drug and violent offenses ranging from Class B misdemeanors to second-degree felonies, and while he has practiced in Navarro, Ellis, and Kaufman Counties, most of his work is now in Dallas County. He has handled more than 400 cases.Mr. Czajkoski earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in business management, with a minor in marketing, from Texas State University in 2020. He went on to the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law, where he represented the Student Body Association and competed in mock trial. He was licensed in Texas in 2024 and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas in 2026.
While in law school he clerked for a felony district court in 2022 and worked as a legal assistant at a solo criminal defense practice in 2023. He has since tried a case to a jury as first chair and served as second chair in about a dozen more, from misdemeanors through felonies. He joined the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association in 2024.
Mr. Czajkoski starts by walking a client through the entire process, so they know what each step looks like before anything else happens. Once the client is comfortable, they go through the strengths and weaknesses of the case together and talk through the options. He is a people person who understands the stigma that comes with a criminal accusation. When it feels like the world is against you, he says, it helps to have someone on your side you can trust.
