Scotty D. Jones, Fort Worth Criminal Attorney

Scotty D. Jones is the Managing Partner of the Fort Worth division of Dunham & Jones. He founded the Fort Worth office in 1997 and has grown it from a single-attorney practice into an operation serving clients through offices in Fort Worth, Dallas, Plano, and Denton.

Mr. Jones was born in Cleburne and earned both his undergraduate degree and his Juris Doctor from Baylor University, finishing law school in 1996. Texas licensed him that year, and in 1997 he was admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and its bankruptcy court.

He has represented thousands of clients facing charges that include DWI, domestic violence, theft, drug offenses, and violent crimes, in Tarrant, Dallas, Denton, Collin, Johnson, and Parker Counties. He now oversees the full range of the firm's criminal cases and has managed and supervised hundreds of jury trials across the region.

Mr. Jones is a member of the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He puts his approach simply: "Our goal is to keep our client's record clean." He does criminal defense work because he always wanted to help people, and standing up to the government for the average citizen is how he chose to do it.
