
Chris then attended Texas A&M University School of Law on an academic scholarship. While in law school, he volunteered with the Catholic Charities immigration clinic assisting clients with naturalization forms. Mr. Wilkes also completed an externship with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office.
After graduating law school, Mr. Wilkes was a corporate attorney for a large law firm before transitioning to immigration law. Chris volunteers for the Catholic Charities by providing refugees with English tutoring services. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Fellow for the Napa Legal Institute, a think-tank that assists non-profits with their legal needs. Chris's law practice focuses primarily on humanitarian and family-based immigration. Many of his closest friends are immigrants or first-generation Americans and he is passionate about helping clients seek happy lives in the United States.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys tennis, guitar, the outdoors, spending time with his family and traveling.
