Milton Greg 'Greg' Mullanax is a criminal defense attorney in the Lubbock office of Dunham & Jones. He handles felony and misdemeanor cases in Lubbock, Crosby, Floyd, Garza, Lynn, Dawson, Gaines, Yoakum, Hockley, Bailey, Lamb, Hale, and Motley Counties. Licensed in Texas since 1993 and also admitted in California, Nevada, Colorado, and the District of Columbia, he has tried more than 40 cases to a jury verdict across his civil and criminal practice.
Mr. Mullanax began his career in 1991 as a deputy attorney general for the State of Nevada, representing the Nevada Highway Patrol and the Department of Motor Vehicles in hearings, litigation, and appeals to the Nevada Supreme Court. He then ran his own practice in Fort Worth, handling civil litigation, family law, and criminal defense. In 2003 he moved to Fresno, California, where he practiced workers' compensation law before opening his own firm. There he represented employees in employment cases, brought civil rights cases in federal court, and took on select criminal cases, some of them without a fee.
Mr. Mullanax grew up in Arlington, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Russian Area Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1985 and worked on congressional and state legislative staffs before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1991. In Fresno he served two terms on the county grand jury, the second as foreperson.
He makes a point of getting to know each client as well as he can. Representing someone in a criminal case is a serious responsibility, and he wants to understand everything about the client and the situation they are in.
