Kordell Edward Don Tindle, Lubbock Criminal Attorney

Kordell Edward Don Tindle is a criminal defense attorney in the Lubbock office of Dunham & Jones. He handles cases from DWI to first-degree felonies, primarily in Lubbock County and the surrounding counties. Because of his background in Child Protective Services cases, he works on almost every case involving children.

Mr. Tindle was born and raised in Clovis, New Mexico. He graduated summa cum laude from Eastern New Mexico University in December 2017 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2021, where he competed in mock trial, and he was licensed in Texas that year.

From 2021 to 2022, Mr. Tindle served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Lubbock County District Attorney's Office, mainly handling Child Protective Services cases. From 2022 to 2023 he was a Child Support Attorney with the Office of the Attorney General of Texas. He has handled more than 1,000 cases between his time with the State and Dunham & Jones, including jury and bench trials.

Mr. Tindle gets to know his clients personally so he can advocate for them effectively, drawing on their background and character to humanize them to prosecutors and give them a voice in their own case. He practices criminal law because he wants to help people. Clients often come to him at the lowest point in their lives, and he takes pride in fighting for them.

Outside of work, Mr. Tindle enjoys spending time with his family, going to Texas Tech basketball games, working out, and camping.
