Caitlin Meriwether, San Antonio Criminal Attorney

Caitlin “Cait” Meriwether grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, before living in Lubbock, TX and relocating to call San Antonio home. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Texas at Arlington, and went on to attend Texas Tech University School of Law, with a concentration in Criminal Law and Innocence.

During law school, she participated in many different organizations, trial advocacy programs, and the Capital Punishment clinic. All her focus was always on becoming a criminal defense attorney and advocating for those facing the prosecutorial power of the State. During her final year of law school and after, she clerked for an attorney focusing on DWI charges, and clients experiencing mental health issues. She also operated in her own capacity, taking court appointments. These experiences have shaped her belief that everyone needs an advocate that they know they can count on.

In her free time, Cait enjoys hanging out with her pets (two dogs, a cat, and two parakeets), board games, and is a shameless consumer of any remotely interesting show or movie.
