Alex Hinshaw, Amarillo Criminal Attorney

Alexander S. Hinshaw was born and raised in small-town, southwestern Oklahoma. He then attended the University of Oklahoma where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in economics as well as a master’s degree in managerial economics – both earned in four years. After graduating and leaving Norman, Alex headed south to Dallas and attended Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He then quickly got to work for the Potter County Attorney’s office where he served as an Assistant County Attorney, handling a wide array of misdemeanor criminal cases. Alex quickly found himself in the courtroom working on numerous cases both through trial and negotiations. After his stint with the County Attorney’s office, Alex joined the Dunham & Jones team.

Alex brings his extensive trial and negotiation experience to Dunham & Jones to help fight for the best possible outcome for his clients. He prides himself on zealously advocating for his clients.

Outside of the office, Alex enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching the University of Oklahoma Sooners football and basketball teams, and playing dog dad to his pup, Charlotte.
