Victor Jarvis, Houston Criminal Attorney

Victor Jarvis is a graduate of Baylor Law School - the top law school in the nation for trial advocacy. At Baylor, Mr. Jarvis distinguished himself as a one of the top trial attorneys in his class. Mr. Jarvis participated in Mock Trial and attended the Advanced School of Trial at the University of Saint Andrews in Scotland. Mr. Jarvis was also a Moot Court finalist, and an active member of the Criminal Law Society. Mr. Jarvis earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas A&M University prior to entering law school.

Mr. Jarvis began his legal career with the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office, gaining substantial trial and courtroom experience prosecuting a wide range of criminal matters. Following his service as a prosecutor, Mr. Jarvis established his own law practice primarily dedicated to criminal defense, where he developed a reputation for thorough preparation, skilled advocacy, and steadfast dedication to his clients.

Mr. Jarvis now practices with the Houston office of Dunham & Jones, where he draws upon his experience on both sides of the courtroom to provide effective, informed representation. His background as both prosecutor and defense attorney allows him to anticipate the State’s approach and craft tailored defense strategies for those facing serious charges.
