Tyler Richied, Dallas Criminal Attorney

Tyler Richied is an experienced criminal trial attorney who is originally from Houston, Texas. Upon Graduation from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, he went to and earned his doctorate in law from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. While at SMU law, he was a managing attorney for the Criminal Defense Clinic and a student attorney representing indigent clients facing misdemeanor charges in Dallas County. Mr. Richied worked as a post-bar intern at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office before joining their office as a misdemeanor prosecutor, eventually rising through the ranks to become a felony prosecutor. After working as a prosecutor, Mr. Richied made the switch to criminal defense and worked at another criminal defense firm before joining the team at Dunham & Jones.

Both as a prosecutor and defense attorney, Mr. Richied has worked on and tried many cases with excellent results from misdemeanor DWIs and Family Violence Assaults to serious felony charges such as Aggravated Assault, sexual offenses, and Murder cases. He uses his unique insights into both sides of the courtroom to better advocate for his clients to get the best outcome possible.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys baseball, film, traveling, and spending time with his dog and family.
