After earning his bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies with honors from Ithaca College, Joseph moved to Texas to attend the University of Texas School of Law. There, he concentrated on criminal law and trial advocacy, trained under nationally recognized defense attorney Dick DeGuerin, and competed in mock trial competitions across the country.
Joseph launched his career as a prosecutor with the Travis County Attorney’s Office before joining the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney. In those roles, he tried cases before juries, negotiated with defense attorneys, and learned firsthand how prosecutors evaluate and build cases. That experience now gives him a distinct edge in anticipating and countering the State’s strategies.
An active member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and a former Vice President of the Texas Federalist Society, Joseph remains committed to advancing the profession while protecting the rights of the accused. Clients trust him for his meticulous preparation, strategic approach, and unwavering commitment to achieving results in and out of the courtroom.
Whether facing a misdemeanor or a complex felony charge, clients trust Joseph for skilled representation backed by creativity, experience, and results.
