Sean Wright is a criminal defense attorney who brings to the firm a unique perspective forged through more than two decades of public service in Texas law enforcement and now as a dedicated criminal defense attorney. Before entering private practice, Sean served for over 20 years as a Texas peace officer, culminating in over seven years as Chief of Police. This extensive background in policing provides an insider’s understanding of law enforcement procedures, investigative tactics, and the criminal justice system that now benefits clients facing serious criminal charges.
Before joining the firm, Sean was a staff attorney with ALTO-US, representing major retailers and collaborating with law enforcement and prosecutors to investigate and prosecute major retail theft and organized retail crime cases.
Sean earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Thurgood Marshall School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement and Police Science from Sam Houston State University.
In addition to his community work and mentoring, Sean is a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) police instructor at the Galveston College Law Enforcement Academy.
