AjaLeigh Blake Haley is a criminal defense attorney in the Fort Worth office of Dunham & Jones, focused on courtroom advocacy and trial strategy. She represents clients facing misdemeanor and felony charges, most often DWI, possession of marijuana, and assault causing bodily injury to a family member, and she appears most often in Parker and Hood Counties.
Ms. Haley grew up in Colleyville and has lived in the area her whole life apart from college. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Texas State University, graduating magna cum laude in three years in May 2021. After graduation she went straight to UNT Dallas College of Law, where she was part of the Student Bar Association and participated in many mock trials, and she earned her Juris Doctor in 2024. During law school she interned with the Dallas County Public Defender's Office in 2022, clerked at Udashen Anton in Dallas from 2022 to 2023, and joined United Firm in Dallas in her final year.
After she was licensed in Texas in 2024, Ms. Haley stayed on at United Firm as a defense associate from 2024 to 2026 before joining Dunham & Jones. She has tried jury trials as both first chair and second chair and has handled hundreds of cases.
Ms. Haley took up criminal defense to stand with the underdog and to see that her clients' rights are upheld. Her background is in trial advocacy, and she is prepared to take a case to trial when necessary.
Outside of work, she coaches club volleyball and spends time with her bonus kids.
