Justin Fischer, Austin Criminal Attorney

Justin Fischer was born in North Texas and currently lives in Austin. He graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Finance and Economics. He then graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.

After passing the bar exam he briefly practiced civil litigation in Dallas before moving to San Antonio and opening his own law firm. While operating his own law firm he represented a diverse set of clients on criminal, family, and civil litigation. He has tried all types of cases from traffic tickets to assault to murder cases. He has also argued appeals and won in front of the Fourth Court of Appeals and the Court of Criminal Appeals.

Mr. Fischer then worked at the Bexar County Criminal District Attorney’s Office where he handled misdemeanor and felony cases. He was in the Special Crimes Division where he handled officer involved shooting investigations, white collar crime, offenses involving public officials, computer based offenses, and other serious felony offenses.

Mr. Fischer currently works exclusively on criminal defense cases for Dunham & Jones out of the Austin office.

Outside of work, Mr. Fischer enjoys spending time with his twin children.
