Helen Wang earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Movement Studies from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Before attending law school, she worked as a legal assistant for a criminal defense attorney in Plano, Texas, where she gained early exposure to criminal defense practice.
Helen received her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston and is licensed to practice law in Texas.
During law school, Helen interned with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and co-chaired a misdemeanor assault jury trial as a law student. She also worked as a judicial extern with the United States Army Trial Judiciary at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, where she conducted legal research, drafted rulings for military judges, and observed courts-martial proceedings.
Helen was born and raised in Taiwan and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
