Rafael Ledesma, Austin Criminal Attorney

J. Rafael Ledesma has lived in the Austin Area for nearly 30 years. Mr. Ledesma is a former Assistant City Attorney (Municipal Prosecutor) for the City of Corpus Christi, Texas. Mr. Ledesma used that knowledge, which included extensive trial work and knowledge of Class C Misdemeanors, to work his way up to join the Dunham & Jones Law firm in 2006, and also to come back to what he considers home. Mr. Ledesma worked on many DWI criminal cases and other types of criminal cases, for the Dunham & Jones before specializing in Administrative law.

In this specialty, Mr. Ledesma has handled thousands of Administrative License Revocation (ALR) cases all over the State of Texas. Mr. Ledesma has also taught Continuing Law Education (CLE) courses on the subject of ALRs to other attorneys. Mr. Ledesma has achieved many successful results for his clients to stop the automatic suspension of their drivers’ licenses.

Mr. Ledesma graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, School of Law. Before that, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Saint Edward’s University (Austin, TX). He also happily graduated from Lanier High School in Austin, Texas.
