Carly Jordan Cook, Plano Criminal Attorney

Carly Jordan Cook is a criminal defense attorney in the Plano office of Dunham & Jones, committed to guiding clients through every stage of the legal process with clarity, honesty, and compassion. She represents people facing misdemeanor and felony charges, approaching each case with careful preparation and a commitment to protecting constitutional rights. Most of her caseload is DWI, including cases alleging a blood alcohol level of 0.15 or higher and second offenses, along with assault causing bodily injury. She handles misdemeanors in Grayson County Courts at Law Nos. 1 and 2, and misdemeanors and felonies in Collin County Courts at Law Nos. 1, 2, 4, and 6 and the 380th District Court.

Ms. Cook is originally from Colleyville, Texas. She graduated from the University of Kansas School of Business in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership. She then earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2025, where she was awarded the Advocacy Skills Certificate for her advanced training in litigation and courtroom advocacy. During law school, she served on the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy, first as a staff editor and then as an articles editor, writing and editing articles on legal and public policy issues. She interned with the Johnson County District Court in Olathe and the Leavenworth County Attorney's Office, and she volunteered as a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) in Douglas County, Kansas.

Licensed in Texas in 2025, Ms. Cook joined Dunham & Jones directly from law school and has served as second chair in jury trials.

Driven by a strong commitment to fairness and meaningful advocacy, Ms. Cook believes every defendant deserves an unbiased, competent, and dedicated attorney. She wants every client to know she will uphold their constitutional rights and fight for them, whatever the facts of the case.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading novels, walking and playing with her Mini Poodle, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
