Donald Strickland is a licensed attorney and mediator who completed his Bachelor's degree in pre-law at UTA before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law. During law school, he focused his studies on criminal law and criminal procedure while interning with the Public Defender's Office, working directly on criminal matters.
Before becoming an attorney, Donald served as an ordained minister and holds a Master of Divinity from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University. As a minister, he counseled people through personal crises. His background in ministry, crisis counseling, and mediation gives him a steady, people-centered perspective on criminal defense, along with practical experience in the negotiation and resolution that many cases require.
Outside of work, Don owns a horse rescue farm.
