John Ryan Nollette, Dallas Criminal Attorney

John Ryan Nollette is a criminal defense attorney in the Dallas office of Dunham & Jones and a former Collin County prosecutor. He handles state misdemeanors and felonies at every level, from Class C misdemeanors through first-degree felonies, and takes cases throughout North Texas. He has handled hundreds of criminal cases.

Mr. Nollette grew up in the Dallas area. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science, with a minor in history, from Texas A&M University in 2021, then his Juris Doctor from Liberty University School of Law in Lynchburg, Virginia, in 2024. He was a Dean's Merit Scholar there and a quarterfinalist in the Liberty Cup Moot Court Tournament. Texas licensed him in October 2024, and he was admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas in April 2026.

He served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Collin County District Attorney's Office from 2024 to 2025, trying criminal cases to verdict. In 2026 he was an Associate Attorney at Polak Law Group in Dallas, handling personal injury and construction litigation for businesses, insurers, and individuals, before joining Dunham & Jones.

Mr. Nollette works a case through the eyes of a former prosecutor who knows how the State builds one, and he uses that to shape a strategy for each client individually. He does this work because he cares about advocating for people and protecting their constitutional rights at the hardest moment of their lives.

Outside of work, Mr. Nollette watches Aggie sports, plays golf, cooks, reads, and spends time with family and friends.
