Robert “Hayden” Butler, Houston Criminal Attorney

Robert “Hayden” Butler is a dedicated attorney with a passion for advocacy, trial work, and criminal law. A proud graduate of Baylor University School of Law, Hayden earned his J.D. in 2024 and was named to the Dean’s List four times. He honed his courtroom skills as a semifinalist in the ABA Arbitration National Mock Trial Competition and as a member of the Trials and Tribulations Mock Trial Team.

As an Assistant District Attorney at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Hayden handled case preparation, conducted legal research, reviewed evidence, and successfully tried cases before juries. His prior internships at respected institutions—including the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office and Texas District Court 433rd under the Hon. Dibrell Waldrip—equipped him with a strong foundation in criminal law, trial advocacy, and case analysis.

Hayden graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Political Science, where he was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and served as a Liberal Arts Student Council member.
